A Word From Chris Berger...


I'm Chris Berger and I'm a specialist in helping 1st time property buyers find their perfect home.

I'm a licensed real estate agent for the states of Florida and New York.

I currently reside in beautiful Duchess County NY. 

With my decades of experience and client-centric approach, I know I can help you find your first home or your forever home.

THE EARLY YEARS

Born and raised 60 miles north of NYC, I had the advantage of both city access while enjoying the life in the suburbs.

Afer graduatng from college, I was able to join the family business --> home masonry building supply.

I learned how a home is built from the ground up.

When I came into my 50’s, I decided to develop my real estate business.

It was a perfect fit for me as I continued my love for houses.

Now I help people fnd the home of their dreams!




THE MOVE TO FLORIDA

In 2021, I made the move down south.

I had been married to my grade school sweetheart for over 40 years when she passed of a heart attack.

We raised 3 children in our dream home together.

We built that home from the ground up in the early years of our marriage.

I spent most of my adult life in that home.

So, after more than 40 years in the Hudson Valley region of NY, the decision to move to Florida was a diffcult, but necessary move to make.

I'm now licensed in Florida too!

THE PROCESS

The opportunity to work with first time home buyers, as well as, investors is a process that I have done many times.

Real estate is such a bumpy ride and I pride myself in making the process easier for all.

Communicaton is the key.

I always consider my clients special when then come into my life.

So, I feel obligated to offer them my best service possible!




THE REASON I DO THIS & QUICK STORY

Looking back over the years, one of the many clients who stand out for me were a principal and her husband.

It was a home buying journey that took the three of us through all the hoops.

Quickly and suddenly, they found their dream house.


However, they now had to sell their current home fast.


Before covid the market had its ups and downs.

Now though, people were more reluctant to move ahead.

So, my couple wanted to make an offer on their dream home, but needed to sell their current home A.S.A.P.

The first step was building trust with the selling agent representng the home they wanted to buy.

We were able to work out a deal for a closing six months down the road.

Now, we had to go to work finding a buyer for their home within that time.


After six months, we were NOT able to find a buyer for my clients.

However, just one month later we did!


The bottom line is that the other agent was able to verify that we were doing all we could to find a buyer for my client's home.



The owners were patient too and accepted the deal.

Everyone in the end was very happy including me!

Communicaton and trust is how the deal was finally done!

I will always do my very best for you. It's just how I'm built.
